Central Valley School District

Central Valley School District No. 356 is a K-12 public school district located in Spokane Valley and Liberty Lake, Washington. Over 12,000 students attend its 22 schools[1].

The school district was founded in 1890 as Vera District and consolidated with four other districts in the 1920s. That cause over crowding at the High School built in 1912. Many years later the County Superintendent W. F. Standeford changed the didtrict into what is known today as, Central Valley School District No. 356[2].
